What can + can’t be recycled

All brands of contact lenses, blister packs, and separated top foils can be recycled through the program

Once your practice becomes a recycling center, you will receive a ONE by ONE collection bin for patients to recycle their used lens items.

Here’s what is and is not accepted:

  • Used contact lenses.
    ACCEPTED:

    USED CONTACT LENSES

  • Separated foil tops from contact lens blister packs.
    ACCEPTED:

    SEPARATED TOP FOILS

  • Empty contact lens blister packs.
    ACCEPTED:

    EMPTY BLISTER PACKS

  • Unopened contact lens blister packs.
    NOT ACCEPTED:

    UNOPENED BLISTER PACKS

  • Bausch + Lomb contact lens boxes.
    NOT ACCEPTED:

    CONTACT LENS BOXES

  • Contact lens blister packs with unseparated top foils.
    NOT ACCEPTED:

    UNSEPARATED BLISTER PACKS AND TOP FOILS
